Mind Over (Mat)ter

Wednesday mornings at 10 a.m. – 11:15 a.m. on Zoom*

 

The hardest part of your yoga practice will always be just getting on the mat; join me and get that little nudge you need to practice more regularly! Open to all levels of skill and ability, this accessible class is a well-rounded, flowing practice that moves through a series of postures designed to help develop and maintain strength, balance and flexibility for optimal everyday living. Students are encouraged to listen to their bodies, and take rest when needed. I always offer modifications to help everyone find the practice that fits their physical needs on any given day. Students will need basic equipment (see below) and anything they might like to feel cozy at the end of practice. 

 

Dates

 

The Winter 2024 Session of Mind Over Mat(ter) is a 14-week online course held each Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. CST, commencing on Wednesday Janary 17th, 2024 and ending on Wednesday April 24, 2024. (No class Wednesday Feb 21,2024)

Classes will be hosted online via Zoom*. The link will be sent out the evening before class. Classes are 75 minutes each; students are encouraged to join online a few minutes before class starts, and to hang out and chat afterwards. I love to hear how you are doing and what you have been up to! 

​

Each class is recorded and posted to a private YouTube* channel (students are not recorded). The videos are there for you to access if you miss a class, or simply if you would like to re-watch the class at a later time. 

​

*Platforms used may be subject to change. All students will be notified in advance of any changes and provided with the appropriate link.

**Dates may be subject to change due to illness or unforeseen family emergencies.

Online Class Rates

​

Full Subscription, 14 weeks: $112 ($8 per class)

Half-pass/choose your own adventure (7 flex passes): $63 ($9 per class)

Drop-in class: $12 each

Late enrolment: remaining classes will be prorated to $8.50  per class if enrolment takes place before October 3rd. After this date classes under an enrolment plan are charged at $10/class for the remaining sessions.

Payment

Payments can be made by e-transfer to rebeccalupton@hotmail.com (204 573 2010). Unfortunately, I am unable to accept cash or cheques at this time. My apologies! Your receipt will be emailed to you.

Equipment

​

I would like each student to have the following equipment:

​

  • A yoga mat

  • blocks (two is ideal, but even one is great)

  • A strap (belts or housecoat ties work well!)

  • A rolled blanket held with a band/belt or a cylindrical bolster or a large throw pillow folded in half

​

Optional:

  • Another blanket available to drape yourself after practice. 

  • A water bottle/mug of your favourite bevvy, and a comfy sweater or wrap to cozy up in  

  • Comfortable, loose fitting or stretchy clothing that will not distract from your practice.
